Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old. Underage fees will apply to anyone 21-24 years old.
- Valid U.S. driver's license. Temporary licenses are not accepted. International drivers require an international license.
- Major credit card in the renter's name. We do not accept prepaid cards, cash, checks, or gift cards.
- Proof of full coverage insurance (comprehensive, collision, and liability) that will transfer to the rental vehicle. Please have current insurance card or declaration page as proof of coverage.
- $50.00 non-refundable holding fee applies to specialty, SUVs, trucks, and vans at time of reservation and will be credited only at pick-up.
- All rental vehicles are 100% smoke free! A smoking fine of $250.000 plus damages will be applied if there is any evidence of smoking in our rentals.

Rent a Toyota is a vehicle rental program available only through Toyota dealers. Rent a Toyota was designed to assist dealers in offering quality, temporary transportation for their customers. Whether you need a service rental or an insurance replacement vehicle, Toyota has you covered. Retail rentals are also available for extended test-drives or special travel plans.
Unlike other rental companies, Rent a Toyota is Toyota dealer based. This means that not only do you have an opportunity to rent the latest model Toyota, but you get the quality customer service of a conveniently-located Toyota dealer like Toyota of Greenville.
We take a deposit on your credit card at the time of rental for the total rental charges, as well as a $250 security deposit. The $250 security deposit is released once the vehicle is returned and inspected in the same condition at check out with a FULL tank of gas. Most credit card companies take 24-72 hours to release your funds back to your account.
Anywhere outside of the United States is prohibited. Rental contracts must be re-written every 30 days to remain valid.
We allow towing with select rentals, as long as the rental vehicle has our factory-installed hitch and you do not exceed the manufacturer's payload weight specification.
Absolutely. Most Rent a Toyota vehicles are available to purchase after the short in-service period. Ask a member of our team for more details!
